ANTI-RAGGING CELL
Ragging is strictly prohibited at Galsi Mahavidyalaya. Any student who is caught doing ragging will have to face consequences as per the law. The college follows the guidelines set by the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India and the UGC to maintain a ragging-free campus. To ensure a safe and respectful learning environment, the college has established the Anti-Ragging Cell, which plays a crucial role in preventing ragging and promoting a culture of mutual respect and dignity.
The college has established the AR Cell to aware the students about the punishments and effects of ragging in the college. It educates new students on the importance of maintaining harmony and discipline within the campus. By fostering a spirit of camaraderie, the cell ensures that all students feel safe and supported in their academic journey.
INTERNAL COMPLAINTS COMMITTEE AND SEXUAL HARASSMENT PREVENTION CELL
This cell was established to solve the issues related to sexual harassment in the college. The members of Cell work as a team to provide a safe environment for the students, staff, and faculty. The committee consists of members from various roles within the college, and their contact details are made available on the college website for easy access.
Victims of sexual harassment are encouraged to report incidents directly to any committee member by phone, by writing, or by approaching the principal. The objectives of this cell include:
- Establishing a policy to prevent sexual harassment within the institution.
- Providing a structured mechanism for the redressal of complaints related to sexual harassment and gender-based violence.
- Ensuring a gender-sensitive environment that promotes equality and dignity for all individuals.
EQUAL OPPORTUNITY CELL (FOR SC, ST, OBC & MINORITY STUDENTS)
